Classy Dates on a Budget

types of loansThere are all different types of loans: loans for cars, for school, and even for emergencies. However, unless you can hit up a friend or family member for money, there aren’t any loans for dates. Don’t worry because although entertainment is expensive, you can still have some classy dates without spending a fortune.

Art

Do you have an art lover you are trying to impress? Spend some time at an art museum. If your city has an art district with lots of galleries, that can also make a fabulous way to spend an evening. Museums and galleries tend to be free and are great conversation starters.

Parks

Nature lovers make perfect picnic dates. You not only get a chance to see a little of the natural world, but you can show off some of your cooking skills, too. Depending on whether your date likes to hike or not, you can make it an easy stroll through a local park or a more adventuresome hike that might require backpacks, instead of a picnic basket.

Dances

Go for the more classic dances like Swing or ballroom dancing. Many clubs in different cities try to attract new dancers by having a free class before an actual dance event. You can go and learn a few steps and decide whether you want to stay for the dance or not. There may be a slight entrance fee, but it’s nowhere near the amount of money you might spend for dinner and drinks at a fancy restaurant.

Dinner at Home

Are you a gourmet chef or close to it? Why not invite your date to your house and serve them a meal to remember? It costs far less to cook at home and your date will be impressed by the level of effort and thought you put into the evening.
